Casino Control Act 2006

On application under section 17, the Minister must approve, or refuse to approve, the amendment of the casino lease.

In deciding whether to approve the owner entering into the proposed lease with the proposed lessee, the Minister must consider any recommendation—

made by the commission about the owner entering into the proposed lease with the proposed lessee; and

made by a casino advisory panel about the owner entering into the proposed lease with the proposed lessee, including whether the owner entering into the proposed lease with the proposed lessee is in the public interest.
