2222 Seizure and sale order—postponement of sale
(1)
On application by an enforcement officer, the enforcement creditor or the enforcement debtor, the court may order that the sale of property seized under a seizure and sale order be postponed to a stated date.
Note
Pt 6.2 (Applications in proceedings) applies to an application for an order under this rule.
(2)
For a sale of personal property, the stated date must not be later than 12 weeks after the day the property was seized unless the court otherwise orders.
(3)
If the order authorising the sale would otherwise end before the stated date, the postponement automatically extends the order until the end of the stated date.
