Court Procedures Rules 2006

This rule applies if a worker accepts payment of an amount under rule 3958 (Arbitration—acceptance of payment by worker).

The court may order payment of the amount to the worker or the application of the amount for the worker’s benefit.

Pt 6.2 (Applications in proceedings) applies to an application for an order under this rule.

The court may order the employer to pay any costs of the worker properly incurred before the worker receives the notice about the employer’s submission or payment, and in relation to the notice of the submission or payment and to its acceptance.
