607 Manufacturing controlled drug for selling
A person commits an offence if the person manufactures a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug—
with the intention of selling any of it; or
believing that someone else intends to sell any of it.
Maximum penalty: imprisonment for life.
Absolute liability applies to the circumstance that the quantity manufactured was a large commercial quantity.
A person commits an offence if the person manufactures a commercial quantity of a controlled drug—
with the intention of selling any of it; or
believing that someone else intends to sell any of it.
Maximum penalty: 2 500 penalty units, imprisonment for 25 years or both.
