718 Pleading guilty in another’s name
(1)
A person commits an offence if the person pleads guilty to a charge for an offence knowing the charge is in someone else’s name.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
(2)
In a prosecution for an offence against this section it is not necessary to prove the identity or existence of the other person.
