111 Complaints about animal nuisance
(1)
A person affected by an animal nuisance may complain in writing to the registrar about the nuisance.
Note
For how documents may be given, see the Legislation Act, pt 19.5.
(2)
The registrar may investigate the complaint unless satisfied that the complaint is frivolous or vexatious.
(3)
If, after investigation, the registrar decides not to issue a nuisance notice, the registrar must—
(a)
give written notice of the decision to the complainant; and
(b)
advise the complainant about any methods available for settling the issue privately.
