3B Objects of Act
The objects of this Act include—
(a)
to prevent and reduce domestic and family violence; and
(b)
to promote the safety, protection and wellbeing of people, including children or young people, who are, or are at risk of being, subjected to domestic and family violence; and
(c)
to promote the accountability of perpetrators of domestic and family violence for their actions; and
(d)
to promote the development of skills and expertise of government and community‑based organisations to understand, respond to and prevent domestic and family violence.
