In force

In this part:

former MLA, in relation to a casual vacancy, means the person who was elected to the seat in which the vacancy has occurred at the last election before the vacancy occurred.

Speaker includes—

(a)

if there is a vacancy in the office of Speaker—the Deputy Speaker; and

(b)

if there is a vacancy in the offices of Speaker and Deputy Speaker—the clerk of the Legislative Assembly.
