241 Noncompliance with pt 14
(1)
The failure of a person to comply with a provision of this part in relation to an election does not invalidate that election.
(2)
Without limiting subsection (1)—
(a)
if—
(i)
a party endorsed a candidate in an election; and
(ii)
the candidate was elected at the election;
a failure by the reporting agent of the party to comply with this part in relation to that election does not invalidate the candidate’s election;
(b)
a failure by the reporting agent of a candidate who is elected at an election to comply with this part in relation to the election does not invalidate the candidate’s election.
