Electoral Act 1992

This section applies if the commissioner is given information under section 216B (Regular disclosure of gifts).

The commissioner must as soon as practicable publish the information in the way the commissioner considers appropriate.

However, if a gift was made by an individual, the commissioner must not publish the individual’s home address other than—

the suburb or postcode of the individual’s home address; or

any post office box details.

Note The individual’s private address details may, on request, be inspected at the commissioner’s office during ordinary business hours (see s 243).
