Environment Protection Act 1997

A certificate purporting to be signed by an analyst—

stating that they have analysed, or caused to be analysed, a sample from a sealed container to which was attached a label purporting to be signed by the authorised officer named in the certificate and bearing particulars of the date and time when, and the place where, the sample was taken by the authorised officer; and

describing the analysis to which the sample was subjected; and

setting out the results of the analysis;

is evidence of the matters so stated.
