91E Notification of certain people about orders for assessment or remediation
The authority must, by written notice, notify the relevant person in relation to land adjacent to land to which section 91C (1) or section 91D (1) relates—
that notice of an assessment or remediation of the land has been given to the appropriate person; or
that the authority is carrying out the requirements of an assessment order or remediation order in relation to the land.
A notice under subsection (1) must—
invite the person to whom notice is given to make written submissions to the authority within 21 days beginning the day after the day the person received the notice; and
state the places where a copy of any of the following documents is available to the public:
a report of the outcome of an assessment under section 91C (1);
a progress report on the assessment under section 91C (3);
an assessment under section 91C (4) (a);
an audit under section 91C (4) (b);
a report of the outcome of an assessment under section 91D (1);
a progress report on the assessment under section 91D (3);
an audit under section 91C (4) (b).
In this section:
relevant person, in relation to land, means—
the occupier of the land; and
if the occupier is not the lessee—the lessee; and
if the land is land under a land sublease and the occupier is not the sublessee—the sublessee.
