26 CMS Access

(1)

A person commits an offence if the person does any of the following in relation to the CMS on authorised premises:

(a)

opens the CMS;

(b)

repairs the CMS;

(c)

adjusts the CMS;

(d)

modifies the CMS.

Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.

Note The CMS does not include a gaming machine connected to it (see s 24 (1) (b)).

(2)

Subsection (1) does not apply to the following people:

(a)

an approved technician;

(b)

someone authorised in writing by the commission.

(3)

An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
