28 Claimant may accept or reject Territory’s compensation offer
(1)
If the Territory makes an offer of compensation under section 27 (1), the claimant may, by written notice to the director-general—
(a)
accept the offer; or
(b)
do both of the following:
(i)
reject the offer;
(ii)
state the amount of compensation they consider they are entitled to and how the amount is worked out.
(2)
If the claimant has not given the Territory a notice under subsection (1) within 30 days after the day the Territory makes the offer of compensation, the claimant is taken to have rejected the offer.
