49 Requirement to attend hearing and answer questions
For the exercise of its functions the commission—
(a)
may, by written notice given to a person, require the person to attend a hearing of the commission to give evidence; and
(b)
may require a person appearing before the commission to give evidence to answer a question relevant to the hearing.
Note The Legislation Act, s 170 and s 171 deal with the application of the privilege against self-incrimination and client legal privilege.
