10 Cessation
A member ceases to hold office as a member—
(a)
when the commission’s report of its examination of the complaint has been submitted to the Attorney-General in accordance with section 22; or
(b)
if section 30 applies—when the commission notifies the Attorney-General in accordance with that section that any outstanding matters have been finalised.
Note A commissioner’s appointment also ends if the person resigns (see Legislation Act, s 210).
