5C Appointment of members
(1)
The Executive must appoint—
(a)
1 member who is a legal practitioner jointly nominated by the council of the law society and the council of the bar association; and
(b)
1 member who the Executive is satisfied has the qualifications and experience to assist the council in the exercise of its functions.
(2)
Before appointing a person as a member of the council, the Executive must consult with the Chief Justice and the Chief Magistrate.
