Breaching condition of registration

In force

(1)

A person commits an offence if—

(a)

a person operates a boat on a lake; and

(b)

the boat is registered under a law of a State that allows the boat to be operated in the State; and

(c)

the operation of the boat breaches a condition of its registration.

Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.

(2)

An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
