The prescribed safety equipment for a boat listed in an item in table 9, column 2 is the safety equipment in the item, column 3.

Note Recreational boat is defined in the Act, dictionary. For the Act, s 50 (and this section) recreational boat does not include a canoe, kayak, kiteboard, paddleboard, sailboard or surfboard (see Act, s 50).
