28 Request for treatment and care needs assessment
A participant in the LTCS scheme, or someone on the participant’s behalf, may request the LTCS commissioner to carry out an assessment of the participant’s treatment and care needs.
Note The LTCS commissioner is not liable for any legal costs incurred by a participant for legal services provided to the participant (see s 25).
The LTCS guidelines may make provision for and in relation to when a person mentioned in subsection (1) may request the LTCS commissioner to carry out an assessment of the participant’s treatment and care needs.
