35 Certificate of registration for employers

(1)

The registrar must give a person registered as an employer for a covered industry a certificate of registration that includes—

(a)

the registration particulars mentioned in section 34; and

(b)

the person’s registration day.

Note 1 The certificate must be given to the employer as soon as possible after the employer is registered (see Legislation Act, s 151B).

Note 2 Registration day—see s 15.

(2)

If satisfied that an employer’s certificate of registration has been stolen, lost or destroyed, the registrar must give the employer a replacement certificate of registration.

(3)

An employer’s certificate of registration is evidence of the matters stated in the certificate.
