Applications to decide property disputes

(1)

This section applies if any question arises between a person and his or her spouse, civil union partner or civil partner in relation to the title to, or possession or disposition of, any property (including any question in relation to the investment by one of them of money of the other without the consent of the other).

(2)

The person, or a third party on whom conflicting claims are being or are expected to be made by the person and his or her spouse, civil union partner or civil partner in relation to any property, may apply to the court to hear and decide the question.
