64 Use of force—record
The director‑general must keep a record of any incident involving the use of force under this division.
The record must—
include details of the incident, including the circumstances, the decision to use force and the force used; and
be available for inspection, on request, by a commissioner exercising functions under the Human Rights Commission Act 2005.
Note The following commissioners exercise functions under the Human Rights Commission Act 2005:
the children and young people commissioner
the disability and community services commissioner
the discrimination commissioner
the health services commissioner
the public advocate
the victims of crime commissioner
the human rights commissioner.
The director‑general must give a copy of the record to the public advocate and an official visitor.
