170 No entitlement to death benefits—death of foreign national outside Australia

(1)

This section applies if—

(a)

a person dies as a result of a motor accident; and

(b)

the person is a foreign national; and

(c)

the person’s death happens outside Australia.

Note Foreign national—see the dictionary.

(2)

A dependant of the person is not entitled to death benefits in relation to the person’s death.
