297 MAI policy not affected by errors etc
(1)
The validity of an MAI policy is not affected by an error of the road transport authority, or an error of a licensed insurer, in relation to the policy.
(2)
The validity of an MAI policy is not affected by payment of an incorrect MAI premium for the policy.
(3)
A licensed insurer who has been paid an incorrect MAI premium may recover any outstanding amount as a debt owing to the insurer.
