87 Meaning of pre-injury earning capacity—full-time student
In this Act:
pre-injury earning capacity, for a full-time student, means the weekly amount the student would have received if—
the student had been employed in the occupation for which the student would be qualified on completion of the course of studies in which the student is a full-time student; or
if the person is a full-time student at a secondary school—the student had been employed on successfully completing the final year of secondary school.
In this section:
full-time student means a person injured in a motor accident who, on the date of the motor accident—
was at least 15 years old; and
was enrolled in a course of studies as a full-time student; and
expected to be in paid work after completing—
the course; or
if the person was in secondary school—the final year of secondary school.
