Official Visitor Act 2012

An official visitor must take all reasonable steps to avoid being placed in a position where a conflict of interest arises during the exercise of the official visitor’s functions.

An official visitor must give written notice of the following to the official visitors board:

any paid employment the official visitor proposes to undertake;

any activity the official visitor proposes to undertake that may give rise to a conflict of interest during the exercise of the official visitor’s functions.
