16 Liability for wrongs joint and several
Each partner in a firm other than an incorporated limited partnership is liable jointly with the other partners in the firm, and severally, for everything for which the firm becomes liable under section 14 (Liability of firm not incorporated limited partnership for wrongs) or section 15 while the partner is a partner in the firm.
Each general partner in an incorporated limited partnership is liable jointly with the other general partners in the partnership, and severally, for everything for which the partnership becomes liable under section 14A (Liability of incorporated limited partnership for wrongs) or section 15 while the general partner is a general partner in the partnership.
However, a general partner in an incorporated limited partnership is only liable for any liability of the partnership mentioned in subsection (2)—
to the extent the partnership cannot satisfy the liability; or
to a greater extent provided by the partnership agreement.
