42 Right of partners to notify dissolution

On the dissolution of a partnership or the retirement of a partner, a partner in the firm—

(a)

may give public notice that the partnership has been so dissolved or that the partner has so retired, as the case may be; and

(b)

may require the other partners in the firm to concur for that purpose in all necessary and proper acts (if any) which cannot be done without the concurrence of the other partners.

Note Public notice means notice on an ACT government website or in a daily newspaper circulating in the ACT (see Legislation Act, dict, pt 1).
