Part 12.1Development offences
407 Development previously exempt—non‑use
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
a development, other than a development that is a use, is exempt from requiring development approval under a regulation; and
(b)
a person undertakes, or begins, the development; and
(c)
after the person undertakes or begins the development, the development stops being exempt because of an amendment of this Act.
(2)
The development is lawful despite any other provision of this Act.
