Alteration of appliances—approval
42G Alteration of appliances—approval
A person who performs a licensable public health risk procedure may apply to the Minister for approval of a procedure appliance alteration.
The Minister may, by written notice, require the person to provide stated additional information about the application.
If the person complies with this section, the Minister must, by written notice to the person, approve the procedure appliance alteration unless satisfied that to do so would be likely to lead to a significantly increased risk to public health in the performance of the licensable public health risk procedure.
If the Minister refuses the application, the Minister must give written notice to the person of the refusal stating the reasons for the refusal.
