26A Disclosable conduct of integrity commissioner
This section applies if—
a person discloses disclosable conduct about the integrity commissioner to a person mentioned in section 15 (1) (the receiver); and
the receiver is satisfied on reasonable grounds that the disclosure—
is about disclosable conduct; and
is disclosed in good faith.
The receiver must—
give a copy of the disclosure of disclosable conduct to the inspector; and
if the person did not disclose the conduct anonymously—
give the inspector the name and contact details of the person; and
tell the person, in writing, the date when the disclosure was given to the inspector.
If the receiver gives a disclosure of disclosable conduct to the inspector under subsection (2), the disclosure is taken to be a complaint to the inspector under the Integrity Commission Act 2018, section 257 (Inspector—making a complaint to the inspector).
