34 Application for sports bookmaker’s agent licence
A sports bookmaker may apply to the commission for a sports bookmaker’s agent licence for a nominated person.
The application must not nominate more than 1 person.
The application must contain, or be accompanied by, an authorisation, signed by the nominated person, for—
the person to be nominated in the application; and
a police officer to make inquiries, and make a written report to the commission, about the character, and any criminal record, of the nominated person.
The commission must not decide the application until the commission has received and considered a police report, authorised under subsection (3), about the nominated person.
