44 Replacement of licences
(1)
The commission may issue a replacement licence if—
(a)
the licensee applies to the commission for a replacement licence; and
(b)
the licence has not been suspended or cancelled; and
(c)
the commission is satisfied that the licence has been lost, stolen or destroyed, or damaged in a way that justifies its replacement.
Note Under pt 10 (Notification and review of decisions), a decision not to issue a replacement licence may, on application, be reconsidered by the commission and reviewed by the ACAT.
(2)
The commission’s power under this section is additional to any other power of the commission under this Act to issue a replacement licence.
