85 Evidence of licences
(1)
A certificate that appears to be signed by or on behalf of the chief executive officer, is evidence that, on a stated date or during a stated period—
(a)
a stated person was, or was not, the holder of a stated kind of licence; or
(b)
a stated person was, or was not—
(i)
a director of a sports bookmaker; or
(ii)
the secretary of a sports bookmaker; or
(iii)
an influential shareholder of a sports bookmaker.
(2)
A certificate that appears to be signed by or on behalf of the chief executive officer may be tendered in evidence, without being proved, to a court, the ACAT or a person acting judicially (including an arbitrator).
