24 Automatic cancellation of licence
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
a licence is in force in relation to a regulated radiation source; and
(b)
the radiation source becomes a prohibited radiation source.
(2)
The licence is automatically cancelled.
(3)
The chief health officer must give written notice to the person who was the licensee within 7 days after the day the licence is cancelled.
