46K Supporting documents to be securely stored or destroyed
(1)
A person who has possession or control of a supporting document for a family violence termination notice must take all reasonable steps to ensure that the document—
(a)
if the document is to be used under a law applying in Australia—is securely stored; and
(b)
in any other case—is destroyed.
(2)
In this section:
supporting document, for a family violence termination notice, includes a copy of the document or part of the document.
