Receivers and managers

In force

(1)

If a receiver, or a receiver and manager, is appointed in relation to the operator of a retirement village, the person appointed must (subject to the terms of the appointment) comply with the operator’s obligations under this Act as if that person were the operator.

(2)

The terms of appointment of a receiver, or a receiver and manager, may exempt the appointee from complying with stated obligations.

(3)

This section does not apply to the extent that it is inconsistent with the Corporations Act.
