257 Charging monetary penalty imposed on operator to village operating costs
(1)
The operator of a retirement village commits an offence if—
(a)
a penalty is imposed on the operator for an offence against this Act; and
(b)
the operator charges the amount of the penalty to the operating costs of the village or to the residents of the village.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
(2)
An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
