258 Charging for certain information
The operator of a retirement village commits an offence if the operator—
is required to make information available, or give a document, to a person under this Act; and
requires the payment of an amount for making the information available or giving the document.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
A reference to an Act includes a reference to the statutory instruments made or in force under the Act, including any regulation (see Legislation Act, s 104).
An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
