the conduct of bus services, including, for example—

the safety of passengers (including, for example, by the use of particular kinds of security devices) and the public; and

the qualifications, training and experience of bus drivers and other people providing services on behalf of accredited bus service operators; and

maximum driving times and minimum rest times of bus drivers; and

insurance; and

the issue of tickets; and

customer complaints and inquiries; and

the preparation and publication of, and compliance with, timetables for regular route services; and

the obligations of drivers of public buses and other people providing services on behalf of accredited bus service operators; and

the requirements that public buses, and their equipment and fittings (internal and external), must comply with; and

the maintenance and cleaning of public buses; and

maintenance, parking and other facilities for public buses; and

the making and keeping of records and their inspection; and

the auditing of records and systems; and

requirements for display of accreditation numbers on advertisements for the service; and

the provision of information and reports to the road transport authority.
