9 Cessation of office
A commissioner ceases to hold office as a commissioner—
(a)
when the commission’s report of its inquiry has been submitted to the Chief Minister in accordance with section 15; or
(b)
if section 22 applies—when the commission notifies the Chief Minister in accordance with that section that any outstanding matters have been finalised.
Note A commissioner’s appointment also ends if the person resigns (see Legislation Act, s 210).
