Functions of sheriff

In force

The sheriff shall—

(a)

serve or execute any process of the court directed to him or her; and

(b)

make due return to the court of such process; and

(c)

take due charge of any person committed to his or her custody by the court; and

(d)

discharge any such person as directed by the court or as required under a territory law.
