41 Decision on application for warrant
If an application for a warrant is made under section 40, the magistrate may issue the warrant only if satisfied there are reasonable grounds for suspecting—
there is a particular thing or activity connected with an offence against this Act; and
the thing or activity—
is, or is being engaged in, at the premises; or
may be, or may be engaged in, at the premises within the next 14 days.
The warrant must include the following information:
a statement that an authorised officer may, with any necessary assistance or force, enter the premises and exercise the authorised officer’s powers under this part;
details of the offence for which the warrant is issued;
the things that may be seized under the warrant;
the hours when the premises may be entered;
the date, within 14 days after the day of the warrant’s issue, when the warrant ends.
