Surrender of licence

In force

(1)

This section applies to a licensee if the licensee does not owe the Territory an amount under this Act.

(2)

The licensee may surrender the licence by giving written notice of the surrender to the Minister.

(3)

The surrender of the licence takes effect 4 weeks after the day the notice under subsection (2) is given to the Minister or, if the notice states a later date of effect, on that date.
