32 Excavating
A person must not, without reasonable excuse—
(a)
cut away, excavate or remove any earth or material supporting or covering a water or sewerage network facility in a way that is likely to damage the facility or endanger its safe or efficient operation; or
(b)
make an excavation deeper than 0.3m within 0.6m of any wall, fence or foundation of a structure that forms part of a water or sewerage network.
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
