6 Authorisation by utility
(1)
An application for authorisation mentioned in section 5 may be made to the responsible utility—
(a)
orally or in writing; or
(b)
if acceptable to the utility—by telephone, fax or other electronic means.
(2)
An authorisation is subject to any condition stated in the authorisation.
