People to give information, provide documents or answer questions

In force

For an investigation into a complaint, the board may—

(a)

require a person to appear and give evidence; or

(b)

require a person to answer any relevant question; or

(c)

take evidence on oath or by affirmation; or

(d)

require a person to take an oath or to make an affirmation; or

(e)

take statements and receive affidavits; or

(f)

require the production of any relevant document, including clinical records.

Note

It is an offence to make a false or misleading statement, give false or misleading information or produce a false or misleading document (see Criminal Code, pt 3.4).
