69 Giving registering authority in other jurisdictions information about cancelling or suspending registration
This section applies if the ACAT suspends or cancels a veterinary practitioner’s registration or disqualifies a veterinary practitioner from applying for registration.
The board must give the registering authority in each other jurisdiction the following information about the veterinary practitioner:
the name and any other identifying details of the veterinary practitioner;
a short description of the ground for occupational discipline on which the occupational discipline order was based;
whether the registration has been suspended or cancelled or the veterinary practitioner disqualified;
if the registration has been suspended—the period of suspension;
if the veterinary practitioner has been disqualified—the period of disqualification.
This section does not limit any other requirement or power, under this Act or another law in force in the ACT, to give information to a registering authority in another jurisdiction.
