84 Cancellation or suspension of registration by ACAT
The board may apply to the ACAT for an order to suspend or cancel the registration of veterinary premises if—
the premises are in a condition that could cause harm or suffering to an animal or affect public safety; or
the registration holder is convicted of an offence under this Act; or
if the registration holder is a corporation—an executive officer of the corporation has committed an offence against this Act; or
a condition of the registration is breached.
Note Requirements for applications to the ACAT are set out in the ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2008, s 10.
The ACAT may make an order to suspend or cancel the registration if satisfied it is in the public interest for the order to be made.
